Sydling Slowdown: Slow down your Sunday and surrender into stillness with this restorative 90-minute Yin & Sound class.This immersive experience combines yin yoga with a meditative sound bath to aid deep relaxation. Gentle, restorative yin yoga encourages stillness through long-held, passive poses that target deep connective tissues, fascia, and joints. This practice enhances flexibility and circulation while activating the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress, release tension, and support better sleep. Poses are fully supported and adaptable, making the class accessible to all levels. A sound bath using Himalayan and crystal singing bowls with gentle percussion then guides the brain into a deeply relaxed theta state, to help calm the nervous system and ease mental clutter. This mirrors the edge of sleep, allowing you to experience profound rest without prior meditation experience. Together, they invite the body and mind to unwind, rebalance and return to a deep sense of calm. ✨ Things to bring: I supply a yoga mat, bolster, blocks, blanket and eye mask. Even though the room is heated you want to be as warm as possible, as your body temperature will come down when dropping into the Sound Bath.
